What we Believe

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, Relevant to our lives today.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

 In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, affirming, that He was crucified for our sins; that He was resurrected from death to new life; and that through Him we have the promise of new life.

 In the power of prayer for daily living, affirming that if prayer stopped in our church so would everything else.

 In the celebration of communion; a time for remembering that gives us assurance and meaning to our everyday lives.

Believer's baptism, affirming that baptism is for believers by immersion as a symbol of our dying to our old life and our rising, to new life in Christ.

 In the priesthood of all believers; the call of all believers to be ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Using gifts of God's Spirit and opportunities provided by our daily lives. We affirm that while God gives us freedom to interpret the Scriptures, we are responsible and accountable to God for our lives and faith.
